This system is also known as the Subject-Verb-Object syntax, but variations may occur. Spanish language is known to be right branching as it generally places nouns before adjectives and it also uses prepositions. Spanish language allows the excision of pronouns when practically found to be unnecessary.
The pronunciation of any Spanish word can be easily guessed with one glance at the spelling. But phonemic stress is where one may be confused. Spanish follows a system of phonemic stress which implies that by a minor change of phonemic stress in a single word it can mean two different things. Thus a new learner has to be very careful as to the stress of each word. Spanish is also called a syllable-timed language, as every syllable is believed to take approximately the same time measure, though there might be a difference owing to the situation.
