Translate Microsoft Word documents

A translation button appears on the tool bar making it easy to translate MS Office Documents. Preserves the document's formatting.

Web Page:  open online documents by entering their Web address (or URL).

SYSTRAN Technical / Subject Dictionaries (Increased accuracy)

Premium Translator includes 21 Additional Technical Terminology / Subject Dictionaries. Additional dictionaries that contain thousands of terms for each language and industry.

Example: "server" is a general term and would be translated relating to a waiter in a restaruant. With the Premium version you have a computer dictionary, turn this on and the software knows to translate server relating to a computer server.

Terminology dicitonaries can increase the accuracy.

Export Un-translated (Not Found Words) to User Dictionary
Automatically export any not found words from a document directly to your Customer Specific Dictionary so you can easily add your own terminology.

Translation Memory
Increase accuracy of repetative translations by building a database of pre-edited sentences. This ability to train the software more gives you an advanced level of accuracy and control.

Using Translation Memory offers suggestions to sentences that either exactly match or are slightly different to those in previous translations. The next time you translate a document with that phrase or sentence it will let you choose the stored version or you can edit a new one. Store sentences or paragraphs in the translation memory.

Multi Language Dictionary
Build a dictionary with all languages, example with Professional Business you can create a seperate dictionaries for each language. With Premium you can create one dictionary with a column for each language. If you translate documents that will be available in different languages this tool can be invaluable for saving time and keeping dictionaries consistent and building one dictionary for all languages.

Review the Text with Powerful Editing Tools
Many words have different usage in the English language. For example, "space" can be a noun or a verb. How it is used in the sentence can help you determine the correct usage but with the new tools in Systran you can choose how it is handled in the document. This feature alone can greatly increase the accuracy of your translations.

Document Analysis, Word, Not Found Words...
Display the number of words in a document. Highlight words in a document that could not be translated because they were not found in any of the dictionaries and then export them to your own dictionary.

Alternative Meaning Dictionary
Many words can have alternate meanings, the software can display additional options for a word. Example: Mouse [rodent / computer pointer device]

Create and manage dictionaries using SYSTRAN Dictionary Manager (SDM).

This new version has a built in help tool called "coding confidence indicator" which can help determine the part of speech of a word as you build the dictionary.
