Translate Microsoft Word Documents
Translate any text in a document with a couple of mouse clicks. Systran's
translation icons will automatically show up on your Microsoft Word tool
bar at the top.
This makes using the software easy and fast. Additional options allow you to
highlight words that could not be translated or you can look up individual
words in a document with the new dictionary feature on some of the languages.

into Excel for quick translations of large documents. Batch translation

Bar
Sometimes you need to sit down with another person and communicate
at your computer. With the new "translate as you type" feature you
can instantly see the translations.
The tool bar also allows you to translate sections of text, copy and
paste the text and then click translate.
Working on a file that is not supported? No problem with the tool
bar. Simply select the text in any program, right click and choose
"Translate and Replace".
Systran Translation Project Manager (Some Review
Tools only available in Premium Version)
Open files in the Systran Translation Project
manager, choose options and the language, then click translate. The
software will show you the Source and the Target languages side by side
for easy editing. The Translation Project Manager also has additional
advanced tools that allow you to customize the software.
Color Coding: Select highlighters to color code
your document. For example you can have the software highlight any
words that are mispelled. Side by side alignment: Allows you to highlight
a sentence in the original document, and the same sentence is highlighted
in the translated text. This makes it easy to edit and proof documents.
Ambiguity Review: Even if you do not know the language
you are translating into, you can review your original document
and catch any words that could be confusing during the translation
process.
Over 20 settings for color coding will speed up the proofing and editing
process. Keep translations consistent, even if more than one person
is working on a project. Alternate meanings, spell checker, dictionary
terms, not found words and more.
Additional Technical Dictionaries (Premium Version only)
Using Technical Dictionaries can improve accuracy of the translation.
Many industries have common terms that can have a different meaning. Example
'server' is normally translated relating to a waiter in a restaurant. If you
turn on the computer dictionary in Systran Premium, 'server' will translate
relating to a computer server.
You can use multiple technical dictionaries, in the priority
of your choice. The software can also display alternate terms from the dictionary.
This allows the user to see additional translations for specific terms.
NEW Dictionary Lookup - Combination Dictionary
and Automatic Translator
Many words in the English language can be spelled the same but
mean something completely different. With the example above you will see the
word
'ship' can be a noun or a verb. With the new build in Translation Dictionary
you have the opportunity to see a number of translations for the word, along
with translated phrases showing the word used. The Larousse dictionary is
only available for some of the language pairs.
Set Additional Options
There are many addtional options that can be set in the software
to make many tasks easier and improve the translation.
Highlight Not Found Words
Easily detect any word that was not translated by choosing to
highlight the word in a color. After translation any of the words that were
not found in any translation dictionary will be highlighted. Next you would
want to add this word to your own custom dictionary. You can also add words
to your custom dictionary and tell the software not to translate the term.
This first level of customization can improve the accuracy and trains the
software to learn your own terminology.
Choose the Dialect
New localization features allow you to choose
the dialect, for example American English or British English.
[User Tip] You
can also create your own dictionary filled with terms that are focused on
a specific dialect. Example, in
Europe they call a 'subway', a 'tube'. You can easily add subway to the dictionary
and control the translation.
